There is no single permanent timetable for every instrument. Forex, metals, energy, indices and share CFDs may follow different sessions, and holidays can shorten them. An old screenshot or an unofficial table should therefore not be treated as the final authority.

Why schedules change
Exchange closures, daylight-saving transitions, liquidity arrangements and maintenance can alter availability. A visible quote does not guarantee normal liquidity. Around the open or close, spreads can widen, gaps can occur and an order may execute at a different available price. Pending orders control the trigger condition but cannot guarantee the fill price.
Common mistakes
Server time may not equal the trader’s local time. “Nearly 24 hours” does not mean uninterrupted trading. Two contracts in the same asset class can have different breaks. Holiday notices normally override the regular specification. Before holding overnight, traders should also review financing, margin and expiry conditions.
